It would seem to me that a key, principle indicator of brainwashing and cultism is to disconnect yourself with anybody who isn't in full lockstep with your every thought. To allow no dissention. To froth and foam at the mouth when challenged on any level, be it just allowing another opinion to exist or actually having to defend your positions. It leaves me shaking my head that they can't notice just how rigid, unforgiving and ruthless they are in shutting out anyone who dares to have another way of thinking. I feel for all of you who have kids or family members like that. And not that it needs a distinction, but it is always a leftist that acts in that manner. Full-on brainwashing and cultism. Scary stuff.
