About the song: The idea
originally arose from repeated experience of lost conversation threads on
computer message boards on Compuserve, back before most people (including
myself) had heard of a WWW.
About the
MP3:
This is my first published MP3. I could've waited until I had a decent
recording. But I didn't. This recording began as an audiocassette tape
recording made in March of 2001. When transferring the tape to computer, I

recording was a little helium-ish. After filtering out the hiss, I lowered the
pitch to (almost) simulate what my voice is supposed to sound like. Audio

Cool Edit 96 (long since gobbled up
by Adobe). WAV file encoded into MP3 with
CDEX.
